Candle & Colour Magick Information
Candle magick is used with visualization and intent toward whichever goal or need you have. Candles are an effective tool for concentration. In addition, different colours or scents will provide varying energies to help you with your goal. Colours are powerful energy symbols. Many different belief systems incorporate colour into rituals, and candle magick is one way to do so...
Special Note:
These colours are for magick only. When used in other day activities or objects the meanings of the energy changes and different influences are present. So do not look at this colour chart and paint your house that colour, as you wish it to be filled with the energy of that colour in living. Ensure the colours you choose for different items and objects are the right energies you wish to attract.
Know that you cannot just light a candle and expect the magick to flow. There are rituals involved, which are very important to the attracting of colour energy and colour magick. There is a good reason for me using candles because it also incorporates fire, which is an element you need with all magick. Most people do use colour candles magick intent but it is not a definite must, you may also use oils, water etc.
If you decide candles are the way to go for your magick intent, you have to be careful.
Ø Select candles, which will not be blown over easily by a gust of wind or a breeze.
Ø Candles, which are non-messy or long lasting.
Ø Select a holder with negative energies, such as crystal, wrought iron or glass.
Ø To prepare the candle you have to do a cleanse by rubbing it in salt. This will dispel the previous energies infused by the touch and energy of persons who handled the candle before you bought it or from whom you received the candle. All the people who touched candle infused it with some of their very own energy and you will want it to be pure, especially if you are using the candle for magick or in a special favours request.
You have to prepare the candle:
Ø Dress the candle in the required oil
Ø Inscribe it with the intent, the need or the wish,
Ø Writing from the bottom of the candle to the top.
Ø Always let the candle burn to the end as the residue of wax is often required to fulfil the magick.
You may use paper plates with the hand drawn rune symbol for the wish, need or magick to stand the candleholder on, this way you retain all the residue wax and is easy to complete most magick.
Caution, never leave the candle in a dangerous place or unattended for long, make very sure the candle is stable, secure and in a safe place.

Any successful candle ritual should begin with you relaxed and focused being in a light meditation is best for me, always remember that you should NEVER try to manipulate another living creature against their will, to do so is to invite trouble.
ü Remember Rede “Harm None” and the Rule of Three this will ensure your rituals, magick and intent will be productive.
Inscribing your Candle
With a sharp object, inscribe your intent on the candle, writing from the base up towards the wick. Write as many times as you can.
